SwapChoice respects the intellectual property rights of others and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), 17 U.S.C. § 512. This policy outlines how we handle copyright infringement claims for user-generated content on our Platform.
If you believe that any content on https://swapchoice.com infringes your copyright, please submit a written DMCA takedown notice to our designated agent. We will respond expeditiously to valid notices by removing or disabling access to the allegedly infringing material.

Required Elements of a DMCA Takedown Notice
To be effective under the DMCA, your notice must include substantially the following (per 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3)):
- A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed (or, if multiple works, a representative list).
- Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity, with information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate it (e.g., direct URL to the listing or item).
- Information reasonably sufficient to permit us to contact you (address, telephone number, and email address).
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notification is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

Counter-Notice Procedure
If your content was removed or access disabled in response to a takedown notice, you may submit a counter-notice. We will forward it to the complaining party. If they do not file a court action within 10–14 business days, we may restore the content.
Your counter-notice must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material removed/disabled and its prior location.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, phone, email, and consent to jurisdiction in [Your Jurisdiction, e.g., Federal District Court for the district where your address is located].
Repeat Infringers
We may, in appropriate circumstances, terminate or suspend accounts of users who are repeat infringers.
